1) What is this?
This is the terminal public release for the patch of the game "Gyakuten Kenji 2" or "Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth: Prosecutor'south Path" (yes, we dropped the ii because earlier entries in the series never had a number in the title in English language).
The Zip contains this readme file, the patch, a front just cover and the complete Artcover (front and back) that GyakutenGodot and Mrichston made.

The patch translates all the common screens of the game (title screen, case pick screen, save screen, profile/evidence screen), all the text, all the graphics (yes, including backgrounds, sprites and even testify) and all the voices (recycled the old voices when possible or dubbed by voice actors for the new characters) in English for all cases.
In other words, we eradicated all Japanese from the game and you would think yous take a The states release of the game in your hands.
The only japanese left in the game is the song at the offset of example 3.
As bonus, information technology will remove the anti piracy protection so that you volition not see only Borginian when y'all start the game.

3) How to patch it??

With emulator:

No$gba (win): NO$GBA > Options> Emulation Setup, so a window will open with all the emulation settings(every bit you might already know), then y'all but change the Reset/Startup Entrypoint from First Cartridge direct to GBA BIOS(Nintendo logo) and then it works!

I have not the AR Code, sad.
But the AP patch is done easily : open up the rom in hex editor and overwrite datas at offsets told.

I'm non sure to understand your second argument ? The AP Patch doesn't disturb the translation if it's what y'all mean.

Tin't become it to work with either patch on DSTT, crashes on loading, unpatched works fine. Probably upwardly to RetroGameFan to update their .dats to make it piece of work.
