It was love at first sight.

I quickly decided I'd try for a Santa blanket, even though it had been well over two decades since I had crocheted an entire blanket.
Let me explain.
I still knew how to crochet and had whipped up several scarves in previous years. I knew all the basic stitches and figured it would just be like crocheting a giant scarf, lol.
I had one problem, though, how do I make it? I didn't have a pattern to follow and even if I did, I didn't know how to read them. (Shhh…)
